Giving should be easier

For too long it’s been too expensive and time-intensive to both give and receive charitable donations. Technology can and should serve as a facilitator for the donation process to make it simpler, less expensive, and more efficient for everyone involved.

How it Works

When individuals donate via Give from Submittable, they provide guidance on which Non-Profit Organization (NPO) in the United States should receive support from their contribution. The Able Impact Foundation (AIF) receives the donation, issues a tax receipt if applicable, and consolidates all the funds received and recommended for a specific NPO.

Donations made are to the AIF, which means while the foundation has the final say over disbursements, the selected NPO is usually the recipient of the funds. In the rare event that a recommendation cannot be followed for a specific NPO (e.g., if the NPO no longer exists, is not a registered charity, or refuses the donation) the Able Impact Foundation will allocate the funds to a similar NPO. This way, the foundation ensures that your contribution benefits a cause aligned with your original intention, even if unforeseen circumstances prevent the initial recommendation from being fulfilled.
