Thor Culverhouse

Thor Culverhouse is CEO of Submittable and brings more than two decades’ worth of tech leadership experience to the team. He has led multiple sales teams in both larger public and growth-stage startup environments and is a five-time CEO of venture-backed companies. Outside the office, Thor loves to spend time with his four kids and wife enjoying the outdoors in his home state of Washington.

Joe Silver

Joe Silver is the CFO at Submittable. With 15 years of diverse experience across the financial technology, alternative lending, SaaS and impact investing sectors, Joe has helped a number of organization grow and thrive. Joe has a track record of driving financial performance and company impact through data driven decisions, cross-functional collaboration and effective team building.

Sam Caplan

Sam Caplan is the Vice President of Social Impact at Submittable. He has served as founder of New Spark Strategy, Chief Information Officer at the Walton Family Foundation, and director of technology at the Walmart Foundation. Driven by an interest in the intersection of technology and philanthropy, he recently publishing a series of white papers titled “The Strategic Role of Technology in Philanthropy.
